In school we look for opportunities to promote careers and the skills for employment across the curriculum. We believe that every staff member can support careers through the daily conversations, lessons and careers displays around the school. 

We highlight Labour Market Information which helps pupils to see the future employment opportunities within their local area. This helps pupils to make future career decisions based on real employment needs and future trends. 

At Heath Lane Academy, we are committed to preparing students for a bright and successful future. As part of this commitment, we host regular careers events designed to broaden students' understanding of the diverse opportunities available to them.  

These events provide invaluable insights into various industries, career paths, and higher education options, helping students make informed decisions about their future. Through guest speakers, workshops, and interactive sessions, we aim to inspire and equip our students with the knowledge and skills they need to achieve their aspirations.
